At Lindex we have made a sustainability promise – to make a difference for future generations – and we are committed to contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals.
Everything we do, we do for our customers. Our responsibility to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is highly connected to our customers, because we want those who buy and wear our garments to be able to enjoy sustainable lifestyles, both today and tomorrow.
The SDGs are 17 goals developed and decided by the United Nations Member States in 2015. The goals are set to make our world a better place by 2030 and achieve extraordinary things; ending world poverty, fighting inequality and tackling climate change. The SDGs have been agreed upon by governments, demanding action from all countries. However, achieving these goals is heavily dependent on support from everyone and companies have an important role to play. The SDGs provide an invaluable tool for collaboration, as the goals provides global common ground for sustainability and enables everyone to work together to build a better future.
At Lindex we have identified six of the SDGs to which our business can make significant contributions. We have developed our sustainability promise and focus our efforts on projects and initiatives to support these goals.
