Transparency is one of the fashion industry’s biggest challenges and an important enabler for progress across sustainability areas. That’s why we are committed to the Transparency Pledge.
The Apparel and Footwear Supply Chain Transparency Pledge is an initiative developed by nine global trade unions and human rights organisations. It aims to encourage companies to increase transparency by publishing information about the factories involved in the manufacturing phase of their supply chains.
Our commitment to the Transparency Pledge reflects our focus on increasing openness across our supply chain. When supply chains are complex and information is limited, risks can increase and issues may become more difficult to address. Increased transparency helps us identify risks, take action and follow up on improvements.
We aim to reach full product traceability by the end of 2028. Transparency is key to improving how we work and taking responsibility across our supply chain. It is also the foundation for achieving full traceability, as it enables us to follow products and materials through every stage of the value chain.
In line with our commitment to the Transparency Pledge, we publish information about garment factories, processing units and fabric suppliers on our website and on Open Supply Hub. To support this work, we use digital tools such as TextileGenesis to enhance traceability and increase visibility in parts of our supply chain.
Over many years, we have consolidated our supply chain and built long-term partnerships with our suppliers. This has supported improvements within our sustainability work and increased transparency. At the same time, we recognise that more work is needed, particularly further down the supply chain, and we continue to develop our approach step by step.
