Lindex is a member of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI), which is a leading alliance of companies, trade unions and NGOs that promotes respect for workers' rights around the globe.
We know that transparency, inclusiveness, innovation, dedication and above all – collaboration – will get us where we need to be. Being a member of ETI enables us to collectively, together with other businesses, trade unions and NGO’s, tackle many issues that cannot be addressed by us as an individual company alone. It´s by working together that we can address the complex challenges of today´s global supply chains and improve the lives of textile workers.
Being a member of ETI also means to commit to the ETI Base Code and communicate this to our suppliers. The code is widely acknowledged as a model code of labour practice and is derived from the conventions of the International Labour Organisation (ILO). At Lindex we have developed our own code of conduct, which is based on the ETI Base Code but has an enhanced focus on gender equality.
