Lindex makes it easier for its customers to give clothes new life

Lindex introduces a new customer-to-customer platform (C2C) which makes it easy and safe for customers to buy and sell previously used Lindex garments. The initiative is part of Lindex’s strategy to explore new business models and services as well as drive its circular transformation.

'We want to inspire our customers to take care of and love the clothes they already have and make it easy to let garments that are no longer used find new owners. Together with our existing service for baby and kids clothing, we are now making it possible to extend the lifetime of more garments, as well as contribute to more responsible and conscious choices. Through innovation and new ideas, we are constantly exploring ways to meet our customers' changing needs while simultaneously having a positive impact throughout our entire value chain', says Caroline Öhgren, Chief Commercial Officer at Lindex.

The platform complements Lindex’s existing take-back programme where customers, in Sweden, can send in baby and kids clothing and receive compensation. With the new customer-to-customer platform, a solution for women’s clothing is now also being introduced, where customers easily can buy and sell garments directly to each other and give clothes new life.

'We are proud to collaborate with Lindex. Their ambitious work toward circular customer journeys, including second-hand, goes hand in hand with our work. This partnership is an important step towards a more sustainable future for the fashion industry. We are impressed by Lindex’s courage to test, learn and collaborate along the way. The collaboration has been characterised by a fast and agile way of working which demonstrates Lindex’s ability to be a game-changer in the industry', says Karin Rehnberg, CEO and co-founder of Revive Retail.
