Lindex aims for 100% traceability across its entire supply chain

Lindex is strengthening its sustainability efforts by committing to full traceability throughout its entire supply chain. As part of this initiative, the fashion company is implementing the digital platform TextileGenesis, which enables tracking of every product, from fibre to finished garment.

‘By creating full traceability down to the fibre level, we reinforce our long-term sustainability work and gain deeper insight into the entire value chain. This allows us to continue ensuring that our products are manufactured in a responsible and transparent way. This initiative gives us the ability to collect relevant data, make better decisions, and drive change toward a more sustainable fashion industry together with our partners,’ says Anna-Karin Dahlberg, Chief Sustainability Officer at Lindex.

With the digital platform TextileGenesis, Lindex can further strengthen its proactive sustainability work through traceability from fibre to finished garment. By documenting the material journey, transparency and a clear overview of material flows are created. It enables the collection and analysis of sustainability data such as water usage, emissions, and working conditions. This provides a stronger basis for decision-making and reinforces long-term sustainability efforts.

‘Lindex’s commitment to 100% traceability sets a powerful example for the fashion industry. By digitizing the material journey from fibre to garment, brands gain the transparency needed to make responsible, data-driven decisions. We are excited to partner with Lindex and accelerate the shift toward a more sustainable and circular fashion ecosystem,’ says Amit Gautam, Founder & CEO of TextileGenesis.

Sustainability is an integral part of Lindex’s work, and the fashion company is determined to lead the way in the circular transition and create positive impact throughout its value chain. Among other goals, Lindex aims to achieve full traceability for all garments down to the fibre level by 2028. This initiative is part of Lindex’s long-term work to build a more sustainable and circular business model – where transparency is key to both innovation and responsibility.
