Lindex expands its offer with secondhand online

As part of the fashion company's transformation to a more sustainable and circular business, Lindex now also offers secondhand baby clothes online. With the expansion online, the fashion company wants to broaden its offer and enable more customers to shop secondhand.

‘Secondhand plays an increasingly significant role in our business and we see a growing demand among our customers. By offering the concept also on lindex.com, we want to both enable and make it easier for more customers to shop secondhand when and where they want. With insights from previous pilots such as our pop-up store and ongoing tests, where we offer secondhand in selected stores, we are further developing our offer and it gives us valuable insights into how we can prolong the lifetime of clothes together with our customers, says Caroline Öhgren, Director of Sales at Lindex.

As part of the fashion company’s work to test new services and circular business models, Lindex launched its secondhand in 2021, which enables customers to both hand in clothes and to buy pre-loved garments from Lindex.

The online offer consists of secondhand kits for babies from Lindex's previous collections where each kit is unique and only available in one copy. Lindex secondhand online is launched on September 15 at lindex.com for the Swedish market.
