Narciso Rodriguez Pink Collection fashion show by Carmen Kass

Yesterday evening, Lindex served up a fantastic fashion show in Stockholm to celebrate the launch of the Pink Collection, designed by Narciso Rodriguez.

The Skeppsholm Church in Stockholm was transformed during the evening into a catwalk, where the super model Carmen Kass premiered the design collection. Pink Collection with Narciso Rodriguez is being sold to benefit the fight against breast cancer and 10 percent of the sales price goes in full to the Cancer Society’s Pink Ribbon campaign.

During the evening, the specially invited guests were treated to an exclusive preview of the Pink Collection, which will be launched in more than 300 stores worldwide on 1 October. Carmen Kass opened the show, and this was her first appearance on a fashion show in Sweden.

– It was a fantastic evening. To get the opportunity to style a collection designed by Narciso Rodriguez was very exciting. Narciso has a unique ability to create tailored and feminine garments, says Marina Kereklidou, stylist and in charge of the fashion show.

Since we announced the design collaboration, there has been great interest in the collection. Narciso has designed a collection with well-made feminine clothing, with well-thought out details. The collection consists of 15 garments; a dress, a top, a pair of trousers and two jackets in jersey in viscose/elastane as well as three dresses and a top in lighter jersey crepe in viscose. The collection is completed by a long sleeved T-shirt in viscose/wool/elastane as well as a knitted sweater in a mix of viscose, wool, nylon and cashmere. Asymmetric cuts, details such as seams and drapes are also characteristic for the collection.

– The Pink Collection that I designed in collaboration with Lindex is very reflective of my style, and also very reflective of modern women. It is very easy, very sexy and very smart. It is designed to be desired, to make you look good and also to make you feel good. To be able to create something for women and to help them as well, that is why I loved working with this collection. The Pink Collection in collaboration with Lindex reflects my real love for women, says Narciso Rodriguez.

Pictures from the fashion show are available on www.lindexpinkcollection.com. Film material will be published during the day.
