Lindex opens its second store at Helsinki Airport on 27 February, this time in the departures area. The new store is located near the Schengen gates in a newly constructed commercial area. With this expansion in Finland, Lindex has the opportunity to reach entirely new customer groups and introduce them to the brand’s Swedish design, which combines timeless functionality with a contemporary and joyful expression.

Lindex is strengthening its sustainability efforts by committing to full traceability throughout its entire supply chain. As part of this initiative, the fashion company is implementing the digital platform TextileGenesis, which enables tracking of every product, from fibre to finished garment. 

Lindex is taking the next step in its expansion in the Danish market by opening a new store in Rosengårdscentret in Odense during spring 2026. This establishment is part of the fashion company’s growth journey and long-term strategy to continue its international expansion and inspire more customers to discover Lindex. 

With solid experience in the fashion industry and a strong background in commercial development, driving brands, and creating customer experiences, Malin Lundell takes over the role as Country Manager for Lindex Sweden. Malin most recently held the position as Country Manager Sweden for Kappahl and Newbie and will start her new role on March 9, 2026.

Body ideals and hormonal changes negatively affect the majority of Nordic women. This is shown in a new Nordic survey conducted by Norstat on behalf of Lindex, involving over 4,000 women. The survey is part of Lindex’s ongoing efforts to highlight and contribute to increased knowledge about women’s well-being. 

Today marks a historic day for Lindex, as the fashion company opens its very first own store in Denmark. Located in Rødovre Centrum just outside Copenhagen, the store was inaugurated with a festive ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Lindex CEO Susanne Ehnbåge, joined by many excited customers. 

Björn Block has been appointed new CDO, Chief Digital Officer, of Lindex and member of the management team. Björn has extensive experience in successfully driving digital transformation, business development and innovation initiatives. He most recently held the position as CDO at IKEA, where he had also previously served as Global Business Area Manager for smart home. Björn will start his new position at Lindex in mid-November.

Driving change for women is a central part of Lindex’s work. A clear ruling has now been issued by the Swedish Patent and Market Court in the case concerning Lindex’s communication around period panties, where the company Essity has been the opposing part.  The court ruled in favor of Lindex on all essential points and also ordered Essity to pay Lindex’s legal costs, a clear message that strengthens Lindex’s continued efforts to support women’s needs and rights.
