Ensure human rights

In every part of our business, we depend on the skills, decisions and work of individuals whose rights and dignity must be respected, regardless of who they are or where they work. We have a responsibility to respect human rights in connection with our business activities and business relationships, and to address risks and impacts where they occur.

A holistic approach

Human rights risks can arise in many different ways, sometimes even when impacts are unintentional. This is why ongoing attention and active due diligence are important parts of how we work. We take a holistic approach to human rights that covers both our own operations and our value chain. Where we have influence, we use it through our business relationships. Where we do not have direct control, we work together with partners and other stakeholders to address risks and support improvements over time.

Transparency and human rights

Textile value chains are inherently complex, which can make human rights risks challenging to identify and address. Transparency remains a challenge within the fashion industry, but it is an important tool for understanding risks and prioritising action. By increasing visibility in our supply chain, for example through closer supplier mapping and follow-up, we can better identify areas of concern, follow up on issues and strengthen how we work with human rights across our business. We work continuously to improve our processes and collaboration with suppliers to support responsible practices and address risks where they arise.

Transparency in our supply chain

Transparency is key to improving how we work and taking responsibility across our supply chain. It is also the foundation for achieving full traceability, as it enables us to follow products and materials through every stage of the value chain.

We aim to reach full traceability for all garments down to the fibre level by 2028. To support this, we are implementing the digital platform TextileGenesis, which helps us track products from fibre to finished garment. Following a pilot in 2025, we are now scaling up the implementation as part of our ongoing work to improve visibility and strengthen our due diligence processes.

In line with the Transparency Pledge, we also share information about our garment factories, processing units and fabric suppliers on our website and via the Open Supply Hub.

Diversity, equity and inclusion

Being treated with respect and having equal opportunities are fundamental human rights. Diversity, equity and inclusion are therefore important aspects of how we work as an employer. At Lindex, we aim to create a workplace where people are treated fairly and with respect, and where differences in background, experience and perspective are valued. Inclusive teams support learning, collaboration and better decisionmaking.

Ensure human rights – our two core aims

Fair and decent work

We work to support safe and healthy workplaces and to promote respect for labour rights in connection with our business.

  • By 2030 all workers at LIndex suppliers exposed to extreme heat will work in conditions that prevent heat related health risks
  • By the end of 2030, all Lindex suppliers work actively with a living wage programme
  • By the end of 2030, all Lindex’s suppliers will have conducted a gender pay-gap analysis for their workers and adopted a documented, time-bound plan to reduce identified gaps

Diversity, equity and inclusion

We work to address discrimination and promote inclusive environments in connection with our business, where individuals are treated fairly and with respect.

  • Ensure that no discrimination and harassment occur in Lindex’s own operations, year by year

We regularly review and develop our goals, approaches and priorities related to human rights. More information and updates on our work can be found in our annual human rights report.
