Empower women

For more than 70 years, Lindex has been a fashion company shaped by women – as employees, partners and customers. Women are present throughout our organisation and supply chain, and their experiences and perspectives influence how we work and how we develop our business.

Drive meaningful change for women

Women populate every part of our value chain, from field to fitting room. They pick the cotton, spin the thread, weave the fabric and sew our garments. They design and market our products, shape how we run our business and meet our customers every day. People of all genders contribute to Lindex and to how we operate as a companyKeeping women at the centre helps guide what we do and why – to drive meaningful change for women.

Empower women – our two core aims

Female health and wellbeing

We work to support initiatives that aim to improve women’s health and wellbeing in markets and communities where we operate, in collaboration with partners and suppliers.

Gender inclusive workplaces

We work to strengthen gender equality in workplaces connected to our business, including through programmes and initiatives that support women’s participation, development and equal treatment. Here is one of our goals within this area:

  • By the end of 2030, all women workers at Lindex suppliers are supported by workplace policies and practices that support their health and equal opportunities across key life stages
  • By the end of 2030, all Lindex’s suppliers will have conducted a gender pay-gap analysis for their workers and adopted a documented, time-bound plan to reduce identified gaps

We regularly review and develop our goals and approaches in this area. More information and updates on our progress can be found in our annual human rights report.
