Lindex result amounted to 10.8 MEUR in the third quarter – almost double the result reported in the same period in the previous year (5.5 MEUR). The strong financial performance is a result of the company’s increased sales growth with stronger margins and reduced costs following efficiency measures carried out during the year.
Our continued positive development and strong growth is a result of our goal-oriented approach. We had a good transition between collections resulting in a successful start to the autumn, and we see increased traffic to both our physical stores and our online store, said CEO Susanne Ehnbåge.
Lindex increased its sales in the third quarter by 3.4 per cent in local currencies and by 2.7 per cent in comparable stores. Online sales remained strong, reporting an increase of 65 per cent for the quarter.
“We continue to develop our online offer and are growing digitally, both through our own channels and in collaboration with global fashion platforms. The way we meet and create value for our customer is key to our success, where sustainable development is one essential part. I have a very positive outlook on our future and to continue developing Lindex into a strong global brand“, says Susanne Ehnbåge.
