Colour The Looks – Spring 2013

One of the central themes of the spring fashion range is definitely colour. We will be seeing brilliantly coloured collections with elements from both Latin America and the world of sport.

“We really gorged ourselves on both colours and patterns and took our inspiration from the wonderful variety to be found in the rain forests, on the beaches and in the cities in faraway countries when we planned our fashion collections for next spring,” says Camilla Schmidt, from the Lindex design team.

Havana
Here the rain forest meets the city, with a rich range of patterns with large ‘Havana flowers’ and animal prints to catch the eye. The most important colours are various shades of green, from lime to khaki and turquoise, combined with pink, purple and yellow and neutrals like black and off-white. The styling is both feminine and cool.

Fluo pop
The way the world of sport has inspired this collection can be clearly seen in the bright colours and choice of materials. Stylish basics are combined with our popular 5-pocket jeans. Stripes, tie-dyed patterns and stars dominate the range of patterns, and the most important colours include various shades of blue, off-white, off-black and coral.

Sugar me
What distinguishes this trend is the feminine feel and the pretty pastel palette. We find various shades of pink, pale turquoise and green, and materials like washed twill,   lace, chiffon and strands of lurex. The style is modern, feminine and romantic. The key items include lace tops, silky t-shirts and 5-pocket trousers.

Holly & Whyte
This collection is aimed at women who have always liked the preppy image, the classical favourites with that little something extra and styling with unexpected combinations. The colours feature navy blue, bright red, green and white and the patterns are mainly stripes and spots. Blazers, slacks, brightly-coloured sweaters and tops are the key items in this collection.
