Lindex opens its second store at Helsinki Airport

Lindex opens its second store at Helsinki Airport on 27 February, this time in the departures area. The new store is located near the Schengen gates in a newly constructed commercial area. With this expansion in Finland, Lindex has the opportunity to reach entirely new customer groups and introduce them to the brand’s Swedish design, which combines timeless functionality with a contemporary and joyful expression.

We are very excited to open our second store at Helsinki Airport. With this new location, we can introduce Lindex’s inspiring and affordable assortment to entirely new customers. It is also a great opportunity to further strengthen our brand internationally. We also believe that our loyal customers will appreciate the convenient access to their favourite products while travelling,” says Kirsi Rauhala, Lindex Country Manager.

With the addition of the new 250 square metre store, Lindex will become the largest fashion operator at the airport. The store concept is fresh and modern with a Scandinavian look, following Lindex’s recognizable visual identity. The assortment includes selected womenswear and kidswear.

Stores are a central part of the Lindex brand experience, as we want to offer our customers personal and high quality service. Finding new, innovative store locations is an important part of our operations. Millions of air passengers travel through Helsinki Airport every year, providing us with an excellent opportunity to further increase Lindex’s visibility,” says Kirsi Rauhala.

Lindex opened its first airport store in 2024 in the public arrivals hall at Helsinki Airport. That store offers underwear and accessories and will continue operating normally after the new location opens. With the new store, all Lindex product categories will be represented in different areas of the airport.

The new Lindex store will open its doors to travellers on Friday, 27 February 2026.
