Lindex wins in court – a clear victory for women’s needs

This commitment, together with Lindex’s long-standing experience in developing underwear, that laid the foundation for the launch of the fashion company’s brand Female Engineering in 2022, with the purpose of creating safe, innovative, and relevant products for all phases of women’s lives.

Lindex’s period panties are primarily designed for menstruation but can also be used for other bodily fluids, including light urinary leakage. This is now also confirmed by the Swedish Patent and Market Court, which rules in favour of Lindex, an important statement, and furthermore orders Essity to cover Lindex’s legal costs.
