Lindex supports cancer research together with its customers

The International Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an important month that joins Lindex customers and employees. This year, Lindex is donating 10 per cent of the sales during the first weekend in October. The fashion company is also donating all profit from specially designed products in recycled material.

“We believe that we are stronger together and that when we unite efforts, we can make a difference. Lindex is filled with and surrounded by women and we feel a responsibility to every single one of them, that´s why we feel it´s important to support the fight against cancer. Over the years, we have collected 14.8 MEUR and it´s all thanks to our fantastic customers and employees. We are now looking forward to this year’s pink month and hope to make a major contribution to the important research”, says CEO Susanne Ehnbåge.

During the first weekend in October, the fashion company is donating 10 per cent of the sales on all Lindex markets and at lindex.com. The fashion company has also designed an umbrella and a shopping bag made of recycled material where all profit from the sales will be donated.

Lindex started to support the Breast Cancer Awareness Month in 2003 and has ever since dedicated October to draw attention to and contribute to the cancer research. Together with its customers in all Lindex 18 markets, the fashion company has contributed to increased awareness of the disease and has so far donated 14.8 MEUR to cancer research.
