Lindex first concept store for kids´ wear opens in Norway

Kids´ wear has been a big part of Lindex customer offer for a long time and the kids´ department has had its obvious place in the stores. As part of the focus with new store concepts the fashion company now opens its first concept store with kids’ wear.

Lindex is one of the market leaders on kids’ wear in the Nordics countries and it feels great to open this new store. At Lindex we always strive for development and now is the time for sheer store concepts like this. It is something we believe will be appreciated by our customers, says Elisabeth Peregi, interim CEO at Lindex.

That it´s the kids that are in focus in this store is clear. In addition to a wide assortment of kids’ wear there will also be additional services to simplify for the customer. An area for breast-feeding, place for activity and charging stations for mobile phones are some examples. And of course the store will be a pick up point for Lindex Shop Online.

This is Lindex first store concept with only kids’ wear and we will try different things to find exactly what this customer wants. Of course it´s really important to meet the customer needs and wishes and we will test, evaluate and adapt the concept as we go to give our customers the best possible shopping experience, says Elisabeth Peregi.

The store offers Lindex complete assortment of kids’ wear, from the popular Newborn collection for the youngest, up to size 170 for the older kids. The assortment as well as the store interior will follow the seasons and the theme ‘Woods’ is clearly stated by playful graphics to highlight kids creativity and nature as a source of inspiration.

The store is located in Fornebu, the world’s most sustainable shopping center*, about ten minutes from Oslo in Norway. The store opens May 24th, 2018.
