Lindex asks all its customers who bought such tops to return them to obtain a full refund.
The chemicals are forbidden for use in toys and in child care products. As Lindex has more stringent requirements than the law requires, we have decided to prohibit these chemicals from our garments.
Lindex regrets that these t-shirts have erroneously passed our security and quality tests. Our products, and in particular our children’s clothing, undergo extensive testing to meet our safety requirements.
These t-shirts do not meet the requirements and so we have decided to end our collaboration with the factory having such faults in its manufacturing routines. No other products in the Lindex selection are affected.
Children’s t-shirts have been sold in sizes 86-140 cl and have prints of “Hello Kitty” and “Star Wars”. Lindex Customer service may be contacted to answer any questions.
