Product Care

We want you to love and take good care of your fashion to prolong the garments’ life. When you care for your wardrobe, you also give the environment some love!

Bra

Bra with wire should be hand washed or washed using a laundry bag. Otherwise there is a risk that the wire comes off and harms the washing machine.

Cashmere

Cashmere is a soft and luxurious wool material and the garment is an investment piece that can be used for a long time and only gets softer with time. See general wool care advices below. As cashmere is such a delicate material, there can be some pilling after the first few wears. This is normal and happens because lose delicate cashmere fibres crawl out to the surface of the garment when it is new. The bobbles can be removed by carefully picking it by hand. Be patient, the pilling will decrease and disappear over time and you will have a soft and amazing piece that will last you for a long time.

Colour may run

Be careful with light garments and furniture when a garment is given the additional text “Colour may run”. This applies to e.g. dark denim, leather and suede or pigment dyed garments. The colour of a dark denim garment may run throughout the life span but, due to washing and usage, it will reasonably decrease over time.

Functional outerwear

Our waterproof functional outerwear has a water repellent finish and can simply be wiped clean with a damp cloth. To retain the water repellency, don’t wash the garment too often. We always state the highest allowed temperature on the garment, but choose a lower washing temperature such as 30°C or 40°C in order to save energy. Ensure all zippers and fasteners are closed before washing. Fabric softener should not be used on our functional outerwear since this can have a negative impact on the garment’s water repellency and breathability. Waterproof functional outerwear shall not be tumble dried because the heat and agitation in the dryer might break down the waterproof coating on the inside of the garment as well as the sealed seams. When using a drying cabinet, the heat should be low. The water repellent finish might need to be renewed after a couple of washes.

Heavy knit

Heavy knit garments should be flat dried in order to maintain the shape.

Padded jacket

Tumble dry piece padded jackets on low temperature with tennis balls, to spread the padding inside the panels and retain the fluffiness. Follow instruction on the care label.

Print

The colour and shine effect on printed garments may fade after washing and over time. Wash and iron inside out to maintain the effect as long as possible.

Silk

The natural material in silk garments needs some extra care and detergent suitable for silk is recommended.

Swimwear

Swimwear will last longer if rinsed in fresh water after every use and dried before packing it. Do not let it dry in direct sunlight. Keep in mind that the protection offered by UV protecting swimwear may be reduced with frequent use, if stretched or when wet.

Variations

Variations in colour may occur when garments are dyed after sewing. Measurements may vary between hand knitted garments in the same size. These variations give the garments a unique look.

Viscose

Viscose has a tendency to shrink when washed which is specified as additional text in the care instructions. Ironing after wash may reduce the shrinkage or even obtain original size.

Wool

Wool is sensitive to felting and shrinkage. Wool garments can preferably be aired instead of washed. When washing, always follow the care instructions carefully. Hand wash unless the care instructions state otherwise. Don’t rub the garment when hand washing. Don’t stretch while damp. Gently squeeze the garment after wash (don’t wring) and dry knitted garments flat, preferably on a towel. Otherwise it might lose shape. Use steamer from the inside without touching the garment.
