Lindex and By Malina create the ultimate holiday wardrobe

Lindex and the Swedish fashion brand By Malina are collaborating to create a holiday wardrobe featuring 26 pieces, with everything you need for your holiday. By Malina’s strong artistic idiom featuring bright colours and beautiful prints has been integrated into Lindex’s world. The collection will be launched online and in selected stores in all markets 9th May, 2019.
We are very proud of our collaboration with By Malina. We love By Malina’s design language with the colours and prints. We felt that their new approach to Scandinavian design, together with the joy of expressions, would suit our customers. Together, we have created the perfect summer collection with beautiful swimwear to suit all different body types, as well as lovely and easy-to-use garments that you can wear at the beach and at summer parties, says Madelene Ullbro, Design and Buying Manager, Lingerie at Lindex.

The collection showcases a flowy, voluminous, yet feminine expression, and contains pieces for a full summer’s day, whether for the beach, going for dinner or attending parties. Eight ready-to-wear pieces, including a maxi dress, shorts and blouses, shirt and kaftans. Thirteen swimwear garments, bikinis and swimsuits in new, exciting shapes and silhouettes, as well as a bath towel, scarf, beach bag and toiletry bag.

By Malina creates unique prints for each season. These prints are integral to the brand’s colourful and energetic world. Two unique prints were made by By Malina for the Lindex collaboration. One print shows beautiful seashells in earthy tones and the other is inspired by the jungle, featuring a range of palm trees and leaves in coral and light blue.

The founder of By Malina, Malin Ek Andrén, is inspired by various exciting locations from around the world. Influence for the Lindex collection stemmed from the heat of the Mediterranean.

The collection was inspired by the heat of the Mediterranean, with thin, lightweight fabrics designed for the effortless woman. Over the years, I’ve often felt that packing for vacation is a struggle and I wanted to change that with this selection of garments. They’re simply the perfect items to take on a summer getaway! says Malin Ek Andrén, founder of By Malina.

The collection is fronted by three influencers from Sweden, UK and Norway, that inspires other women to be themselves. Nina Sandbech from Norway, AJ Odudu from UK and Margaux Dietz from Sweden.

The collection will be released in selected stores and at lindex.com from 9th May, 2019.
