Lindex won "Sweden's best intranet"

The Fashion chain Lindex has the best intranet in Sweden according to RIM – Editors internal media. Last night the award for “Sweden’s best intranets” was handed out in connection with RIM:s spring conference in Stockholm. “Lindex intranet does what a really good intranet should do – support the core of the business” was a part of the jury’s justification.

– It feels fantastic to receive this award! Lindex is a fashion chain, which means pulse and puts high demands on our communication. Our intranet is a working tool for all employees, both at the offices and in our over 400 stores in 13 countries. It should inspire our employees in the stores to give our customers a world-class fashion experience. The award is a proof of hard work and it feels wonderful, says Kristina Hermansson, Internal Communications Manager at Lindex.

The justification from the jury was “Lindex intranet does what a really good intranet should do – support the core of the business. The intranet helps employees with everything from good planning guides to well-structured opportunities for the stores to get answers of important questions. The intranet also strengthens the corporate culture and has many examples of good editorial content.”

Lindex is one of northern Europe’s leading fashion chains and has currently over 5,000 employees. The intranet “Index” has the aim to facilitate the daily work, creating a dialogue, motivating and communicating Lindex values to all employees.

– An important goal for us was to move from an information channel to a communication channel and generate more participation and dialogue between employees, says Kristina Hermansson
