Lindex is enthusiastically taking part in the Pink Ribbon Campaign

For the ninth year in a row, Lindex is taking part in the fight against breast cancer by selling the Swedish Cancer Societys Pink Ribbon. Together with its customers, the company continues to collect money to the fight against breast cancer and at the same time to spread awareness about the disease. This year Lindex is introducing a pink bracelet from which all profits will be given to breast cancer research.

As a proud main partner of the Swedish Cancer Societys Pink Ribbon campaign, Lindex’s engagement through the years has resulted in both raising money for breast cancer research and in spreading awareness about the disease. In 2010, through its 430 stores on 13 markets, Lindex collected together with its customers 7.2 million SEK for breast cancer research.

“Most Lindex customers and employees are women, and that makes us feel more enthusiastic and gives us a strong drive to support the fight against breast cancer. Our goal is together with our customers to raise as much money as possible for research. Our employees have been fantastically enthusiastic, and I hope for a successful campaign”, says Göran Bille, Managing Director at Lindex.

The purpose of the pink bracelet is to raise even more money to the fight against breast cancer. All profits from the sale of the pink bracelet will be donated by Lindex to breast cancer research, so every bracelet sold makes a difference!

“This year our design team has created an attractive and fashionable bracelet which matches everything and that we hope every woman would like to wear. The bracelet makes an excellent gift to yourself, or to someone you care about. We look forward to very good sales so that we can donate even more money to breast cancer research”, says Lea Rytz Goldman, Design and Purchasing Manager at Lindex.

The pink bracelet, which is sold for 75 SEK, is made of genuine leather and will be sold from September 26 in all Lindex stores in Sweden, Norway and Finland, as well as on Lindex Shop Online www.lindex.com – where the customer gets free shipping on the entire purchase if a bracelet is added to the shopping bag.
