In her second exclusive design collection for Lindex, Ewa Larsson was inspired by thrilling environments as well as by the creative talents who have led the evolution of fashion over the decades.

Madeleine Vionnet, famous for her bias cut – her choice of unusual fabrics that were luxurious and sensual, yet simple and modern, made it possible to create new styles in her time.

Helmut Newton, with his proverbial less is more, and the way he visualised women who take the lead rather than follow.

Affordable Luxury by Ewa Larsson for this spring shows a blithe summer spirit in dresses, tops, skirts and accessories. The capsule collection in jersey, satin and mesh is this time also accessorized with necklaces and bracelets design by Ewa Larsson. There is a laid back elegance reflected in the folds and asymmetrical cuts of the garments. The collection focuses on strong silhouettes and carefully thought out details, allowing several of these items to be worn in many different ways. Its minimalistic colour choice is black and almost white. The one all over print in the collection was inspired by the colours of the Louvre in Paris, and made in collaboration with illustrator Moa Bartling.
