A journey into autumn fashion at Lindex

Autumn at Lindex offers a fashion journey in space and time. Inspiration for the collections comes from both bygone days and future visions, from the forest and the big city. This autumn accentuates contrasting elements – matt and shiny textures, diverse patterns, voluminous and body-hugging styles.

A look back to the 40s, “the English rose” waiting for her hero – is marked in various types of uniform details, camouflage patterns and a nostalgic feminine feel to the garments.
The 80s and early grunge – mix & match, layer on layer, everything designed to create a relaxed look with a clear urban attitude.
Nature, and above all the forest, with its organic forms and textures, comes to the fore most clearly in this autumn’s delightful knitwear fashions.
Everything that is dark with a mysterious undertone is most often seen with a beautiful romantic twist – for a laid-back, cool look.
The future, where sharp, ultramodern forms meet classical elements from today’s fashions – evokes a feeling full of opposites, both refined and raw, alternately feminine and androgynous.

Greys – from a light grey melange to anthracite – will be everywhere this autumn.
Black – a real autumnal black is found in all contexts.
Beige and brown – from sand and camel to beige and darker shades of brown, with the emphasis on khaki brown.
Green – everything from light to dark olive shades accompanied by khaki green.
Red – from beautiful powdery old-rose and light shades of purple to plum and burgundy, set off with a splash of orange, brick red, rust and bright red.
White – from chalk white to off-white.

Loads of checks – large and small, stripes – broad and narrow, flowers and printed lace patterns – enhance the romantic impression.

Trousers and leggings – the silhouette is usually skinny, with lots of detail with different kinds of effect seams and knitted-on pockets. We also see wider silhouettes, as in boy-fit jeans and trousers with cargo details. Jeans keep their position as one of the big favourites among trousers.
Blazers and jackets, often short models, with a focus on the shoulders – match everything. The autumn fashion wardrobe includes masses of knitwear – in tops, cardigans, tunics and dresses – preferably with volume and often with asymmetric details.
Moreover, long shirts also count as one of the season’s key garments. Skirts are either short or maxi length, slim-line or very wide. Dresses are most often body-hugging and short, but the new items for the season also include wider styles in maxi length.
