Premier for the Lindex Pink Collection with Narciso Rodriguez

Tomorrow the exclusive design collection, the Pink Collection, is launched in Lindex stores. The collection is the creation of the American designer Narciso Rodriguez. The garments are being sold to benefit the fight against breast cancer, and 10 percent of the sales price goes in full to the Swedish Cancer Society’s Pink Ribbon campaign. The collection is being launched in over 300 stores across the world October 1, and it will also be available for purchase from Lindex.com beginning at midnight.

For the first time, Lindex is collaborating with an international designer. Lindex is choosing to launch the Pink Collection with Narciso Rodriguez in connection with the Swedish Cancer Society’s Pink Ribbon campaign, in order to provide additional support for the fundraising. It is now possible to buy a design collection, with well-made and feminine garments, at the same time as you donate money to breast cancer research.

– Since we announced the design collaboration, there has been great interest in the collection. It was premiered at a fashion show last week and its reception was fantastic. It feels marvellous that the whole collection is being sold to benefit the fight against breast cancer and Lindex is more than willing to be involved in this issue as most of our customers and employees are women. We hope that our customers help to raise as much money as possible for the Swedish Cancer Society’s Pink Ribbon campaign, says Ylva Alkman, Design and Buying Manager at Lindex.

Asymmetric cuts and well-thought-out details are characteristic for the collection. The collection includes four dresses, two tops, a pair of trousers and a jacket. The collection is completed by a long sleeve top and a knitted sweater. The garments are available in black, deep purple and royal blue. They are priced from 249 SEK to 699 SEK.

– The Pink Collection that I designed in collaboration with Lindex is very reflective of my style, and also very reflective of modern women. It is very easy, very sexy and very smart. It is designed to be desired, to make you look good and also to make you feel good. To be able to create something for women and to help them as well, that is why I loved working with this collection. The Pink Collection in collaboration with Lindex reflects my real love for women, says Narciso Rodriguez.

Pink Collection with Narciso Rodriguez will also be the starting shot for Lindex’s increased involvement in the fight against breast cancer. Lindex is one on the Swedish Cancer Society’s main sponsors and has been involved in the Pink Ribbon campaign since 2003.
