Our organisation

Lindex is one of Europe’s leading fashion brands with approximately 460 stores in 18 markets of which around 40 are franchise stores that helps us reach even more fashion interested and conscious women. As a complement to our physical stores we also offer online shopping in around 30 countries.

Since 2007 Lindex is part of the Finnish listed company Stockmann who’s CEO is also Chairman of Lindex Board of directors.

At our head office and distribution central in Gothenburg there are approximately 500 persons working with purchasing, design, marketing, IT, communications, human resources, economics, logistics, merchandising and more. Here you can meet some of our many dedicated employees. At the head office you will also find our CEO and other members of our management group.

Our stores are the heart of Lindex and where we meet most of our customers. Working in our stores are sales personnel, visual merchandisers, store managers and assisting store managers. As a support to our stores we have country offices in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Czech Republic and UK. The country offices are responsible for results and drifting the stores and also for securing that the Lindex concept is realised in our stores. In Sweden, Norway and Finland the stores also get support from a region manager.

Lindex does not own any factories. We work with approximately 140 independent suppliers and 240 factories around the world. To make sure that our garments are made with the best possible production processes and working conditions we have local production offices in China, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Bangladesh, India, Turkey and Pakistan which are our largest production markets.

Lindex joins as partner in Closely, a new Swedish underwear brand for women. The partnership is part of Lindex's work to create new growth opportunities. Behind Closely are two of Sweden's best-known creatives, Tove Langseth and Filip Nilsson.

Lindex recalls snap-on bracelet with a cat head

We have discovered that a snap-on bracelet with a cat head is incorrectly constructed and does not meet Lindex’s safety requirements. The metal component inside the bracelet is not properly protected which means that its sharp edges may pose a risk of injury.
