Lindex “Fashion chain of the year”

Lindex has once again received the prestigious award for “Fashion chain of the year” at Habit’s Fashion Event which was held at Cirkus in Stockholm Wednesday November 5. The jury’s motivation focused on Lindex clear concept, which has created success both in Sweden and internationally.

“We are of course very proud to receive this price! We have had a tough time in the fashion industry, but we have worked hard with every part of our concept and that is what this price reflects”, says Göran Bille, CEO of Lindex.

The jury’s motivation
With a clear concept for broad customer groups, Lindex has raised the level of fashion and reached both domestic and international success. Design collaborations with strong fashion brands from the global fashion scene, such as Missoni, are new contributions in their assortment.

“Today we have a successful concept to our customers, offering an affordable and inspiring fashion, that we also see works very well on the international fashion market”, says Göran Bille.

In recent years, Lindex has consciously developed the company, both from purchasing and design to marketing and expansion. Successful design collaborations with Italian Missoni last year and now the British designer Matthew Williamson, are a few examples of the important steps in the development of the company. Collaborations who contributed to major fundraising for the fight against breast cancer.

“Everyone who works at Lindex has done a great job recent years, this award proves that. Today we celebrate, but tomorrow we will continue working towards an even stronger Lindex. Our future is extremely exciting, including the expansion in China”, says Göran Bille.

This is the second time Lindex receives this award, last time was four years ago; for good profitability, international expansion and a good fashion concept., Lindex also won the awarded for “Best interior design concept” then.

Habit’s Fashion Event organized for the seventh year in row by the fashion magazine’s “Habit Sko & Mode”. The competition consists of 13 categories where juries with people from the fashion industry appoints three finalists and eventually a winner in each category.
