Eva Hamilton – new member to the Board of Directors of Lindex

Eva Hamilton has extensive experience in the media industry, and has served as executive director of the Swedish Television. She has previously worked as a newspaper journalist, news reporter and worked as a foreign correspondent in Brussels. Eva Hamilton also has other directorships.

Lindex stands for the values that I like. I am particularly impressed by efforts to secure production, both for the people who sews but also for the environment. Also the focus on online sales has come a long way. It will be fun to learn more about a whole new business, although it is very much in the governance of the company that I recognize  says Eva Hamilton’s regarding her engagement in Lindex.

Lindex owner Stockmann decided at an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting in October to choose a new operational Board of Directors for AB Lindex. The decision is in line with Lindex target to expand successfully on international markets.

Per Thelin is Stockmann’s CEO as of November 10 2014. He replaces Stockmann’s CFO Pekka Vähähyyppä in the Board and also serves as the Vice Chairman.
